Privacy & Data Sovereignty Policy

This policy governs the technical infrastructure and open-source experiments hosted under the yankoslavov.dev domain, specifically focusing on user-agency and the prevention of digital surveillance.

1. The "Zero-Knowledge" Architecture

My tools (such as Freedom Tasks and Freedom View Browser) are engineered for Local-First operation. Data processing occurs in the client-side environment. Since I do not operate a centralized database for user content, I cannot be compelled to turn over data I never possessed.

2. Analytics & Non-Tracking

I operate a No-Spy Policy. This infrastructure is intentionally stripped of:

Cross-site tracking cookies.
Third-party marketing pixels (Meta, Google, LinkedIn).
Fingerprinting scripts.

Any minimal traffic metrics are processed using self-hosted, anonymized tools that respect Do Not Track (DNT) headers.

3. Application Metadata & Keys

For tools requiring API integrations (LLMs, Search Proxies):

Keys are stored in Local Storage or Session Memory.
Transmission occurs directly from your browser/environment to the service provider.
No middle-man logging of your credentials occurs on this server.

4. Server-Side Logging

Standard web server logs (IP addresses, timestamps) are set to short-term retention and are used exclusively for mitigating DDoS attacks and ensuring server stability. These logs are never correlated with individual identities or shared with third parties.

5. Encryption Standard

All traffic to and from this domain is enforced via TLS 1.3 (HTTPS). We utilize strong cipher suites to ensure that even metadata in transit is protected from passive ISP observation.

6. Sovereignty & Rights

In the spirit of Internet Freedom, you maintain 100% ownership of your digital footprint. You have the right to modify, export, or purge your local data at any time. My code is open for audit to verify these claims.
